Does anybody know who this belongs to?

There's an article over at Relevant Magazine that I got to commenting on and thinking about.

In it is a familiar refrain about "Our culture" does this or that and I just really feel a need to yell, "This is not my culture".

My point being that though live and operate in this cultural influence, it does not automaticaly become mine. I don't fully accept it and I probably wouldn't own up to it in a crowd. I believe I'm responsible for how it effects me and how I affect it, but that doesn't make it mine.

What if "culture" is a synonym for "kingdom"? Does that effect how I relate to this culture around me?
