This one would be 3 colors and on a cream colored paper so it might cost a touch more, but I like it a bit better. The PDF file might give a better idea of what it looks like up close. posted by Scott # 8:58 AM 0 comments Thursday, January 05, 2006business card
All designs are two color to reduce cost. Right and botom designs would specify a cream colored paper. posted by Scott # 9:47 PM 0 comments Shirt IdeasHow about some shirts? ![]() ![]() Try the PDF file if those aren't big enough. posted by Scott # 3:13 PM 0 comments Wednesday, January 04, 2006river colorsHow long could it possibly take to pick colors?![]() crimson ![]() earth ![]() sand ![]() scarlet All can be used as needed. posted by Scott # 10:22 PM 1 comments Tuesday, January 03, 2006Being OrdinaryFirst an apology. I've been doing more quoting than posting my own work. That will change, I hope. But today I read this in a Relevant Magazine article. It's from an interview with Brother Andrew, who is quite the dynamic fellow. "I began to realize that there is a calling on my life that I must try to fulfill in such a way that others can follow. And that’s why I write about it, in hopes that more can follow. I don’t think my life is extraordinary. I think I’m very ordinary. Going there [to the Middle East], I find out how God can use ordinary chaps. In every situation, just be there in the name of Jesus, and where you are that’s where Jesus is. That’s when people will open up. Just by your presence, the more common you are, the more easily you disarm the man with the gun. Being common opens up more opportunities to share the love of God." Maybe I like it because it confirms something I've already been thinking. But it's not something I cam up with on my own. I remember hearing similar words from Jim Poit, Ray VanderLaan, and Acts 4:13. I'm left wondering what I can do to order my life to be a common, everyday expresion of Jesus. posted by Scott # 3:51 PM 0 comments |
