Sometimes the cliche is OK

The following was found in an e-mail from a woman who was a part of my life three years ago. The context was one of those cliché ridden mass-emails that usually, to be honest make me pretty indignant just for recieving it. But today, having just gone through another small, challenging round of not being in a relationship these items seemed particularly poigniant.

Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once.

Don't cry because it's over;
smile because it happened.

A truly happy person is one who
can enjoy the scenery on a detour.
